Среди пауков есть Kikimora palustris дословно — кикимора болотная (фото 4). У вымерших таксонов тоже есть свои герои, например, Slonik sibiricus (Россия — родина слонов), или страшила невероятная (Strashila incredibilis), о котором мы писали ранее.

А в дополнение вот вам рекордсмен по длине родового эпитета — рак-бокоплав Gammaracanthuskytodermogammarus.
