Скажу честно, это не совсем мой стиль, хотя средневековые картины для меня интересны, поэтому пропускать совместную книгу от издательства МИФ и онлайн-лектория "Страдариум" не хотелось. Оказалось - не зря!
Даже если вы не фанат Мефистофеля, Вия, Франкенштейна и Дракулы, книга может понравиться, ведь автор в общих чертах расскажет про сюжет. Но главное - поразмышляет над тем, почему все эти чудовища появились, как они связаны с событиями тех времён, страхами людей и откуда взяты прототипы. То есть это небольшое исследование монстров в контексте времени и новейших открытий, а ещё анализ отличий русских вампиров от западноевропейских. А всем, кого этим литературные герои захватили , тем более стоит почитать ❤️ Иллюстраций много, почти на каждом развороте!
