Внезапно оказалось, что книжка вписывается в тренды. Тут у нас Камилла, молодая журналистка (привет, Масло), которая возвращается в место, где выросла (привет, Все, чего я не сказала), чтобы написать о преступлении, а заодно разобраться с призраками своего прошлого.
Главная героиня похожа на скорее на условного Харри Холле, чем на умницу Робин Элакотт: она пьет, огрызается, спит со и со следователем, и с подозреваемым, нарушает журналистскую этику. Персонаж мог бы быть картонным, если бы не одно обстоятельство — Камилла режет себя, покрывает свое тело словами, чувствует, как они пульсируют на коже. Такой вот телесный психологизм, на мой взгляд, получилось очень ярко 🔥
В общем, с первой книжкой года меня. А вы под какой обложкой спасаетесь от остатков оливье?

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram.
