Президент РФ Владимир Путин по видеосвязи в ходе церемонии спуска на воду атомохода "Якутия" проекта 22220 и поднятия государственного флага РФ на ледоколе "Урал" озвучил сроки сдачи новых российских атомоходов.
"Оба ледокола ("Урал" и "Якутия") — часть нашей масштабной работы по укреплению нашего арктического флота. Первые два атомохода серии, "Арктика" и "Сибирь", уже показали свои выдающиеся характеристики", — сказал президент.
По словам Путина, "Якутию" планируют сдать в 2024 году, "Чукотку"— в 2026-м, а атомный ледокол "Россия" проекта 10510 — в 2027-м.
