Китайские ученые установили новый мировой рекорд, сумев обеспечить стабильную эксплуатацию плазмы при высокой температуре в течение 1066 секунд.

Утверждается, что продолжительность в 1000 секунд считается "ключевым шагом в исследованиях термоядерного синтеза" - предыдущий рекорд составлял чуть более 400 секунд.
