В сентябре 2023 года на необорудованном пешеходном переходе через ж/д пути под колёса попал 17-летний юноша. Жители микрорайона и до этого, и после неоднократно просили власти решить проблему плохих дорог и отсутствия тротуаров: отправляли обращения и записывали видеоролики.
Дорогами в посёлке власти занялись. Но железнодорожный переезд по-прежнему вызывает вопросы. Ямочный ремонт местных жителей не устраивает.
Председатель ТОС «Овчинный городок» Вера Максименко обратилась в Госавтоинспекцию. Ведомство заинтересовалось вопросом: в ответе значится, что объект ожидает совместная с прокуратурой внеплановая выездная проверка.
