По данным лондонской биржи ICE, цены в Европе выросли примерно на 8,5%. На 12:48 по московскому времени, стоимость фьючерсных контрактов на поставку газа в ноябре достигла уровня $453,74 за тысячу куб.м.
Рост цен по сравнению с закрытием предыдущей торговой сессией был вызван в том числе обнаружением утечки топлива на подводном трубопроводе Balticconnector, по которому газ поступает из Эстонии в Финляндию.
Давление в трубе резко упало в ночь на 8 октября, после чего клапаны трубопровода перекрыли.
