Управление аэропортом Новокузнецка перешло от En+ к "Русал Аэро", входящему в "Русал".
Управляющим директором назначен Кирилл Ермаков, который до этого был гендиректором. Кадровых и других изменений за этим не планируется.
Управляющая компания объединит все свои аэропорты группы под единым брендом и одной УК – "Сибирские аэропорты". "Русал Аэро" также управляет аэропортом Братска, "Тайшетаэро" (создана для строительства аэропорта в Тайшете Иркутской области, где у "Русала" есть алюминиевый завод) и др.
На сегодняшний день "Новокузнецк" – ближайший к горнолыжному курорту Шерегеш крупный аэропорт. Сейчас там завершается строительство нового терминала. Аэровокзал должны открыть во втором полугодии 2024-го – сроки сдвинулись с 2023 года из-за дефицита рабочей силы.
Аэровокзальный комплекс площадью 19,5 тыс. кв. м поможет увеличить пропускную способность аэровокзала до 580 пассажиров в час, сделает его комфортнее и безопаснее. Здание четырехэтажное, с тремя телетрапами, шестью эскалаторами и 15 лифтами. Стоимость проекта уже выросла с 6,5 до 8,6 млрд руб.
