🇷🇺🇶🇦On December 13, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cyprus Murat Ziazikov attended a solemn reception organized by the Embassy of Qatar in Nicosia on the occasion of the accession on 1878 to power of Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani, the founder of the modern Qatari state.

🤝 During the conversation with the Ambassador of Qatar to Nicosia Yousef Sultan Laram, the traditionally constructive nature of multifaceted Russian-Qatari relations was emphasized.

💬 The commitment of Moscow and Doha to maintaining a regular, trustful political dialogue on the issues pertaining to increasing trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian bilateral cooperation, on key topics of the regional and international agenda was confirmed.

🎉 The head of the Russian diplomatic mission congratulated his Qatari colleague on occasion of the national holiday and wished the friendly people of Qatar well-being and prosperity.
