Госкорпорация «Росатом» запустила два завода по переработке отходов I и II классов опасности - «Горный» в Саратовской области и «Щучье» в Курганской области. Каждый завод способен перерабатывать до 50 тысяч тонн отходов в год. На предприятиях используются современные системы безопасности и экологического мониторинга, а также российские технологии переработки.
Запуск этих мощностей позволит эффективно решать экологические проблемы, связанные с утилизацией промышленных отходов, и обеспечить возможность возвращения переработанного сырья в экономический оборот, в рамках национального проекта «Экология».
