Чудесный подарок! Историк искусства Амина Батанова, чей канал о скандинавском и прочем северном искусстве @scandinavianart я весьма рекомендую, подарила мне новейшее издание классического перевода великого эпоса "Эдда".

Обратите внимание — 1-я часть этого перевода, Песни о богах, напечатанные в 1917 году, известны всем любителям жанра. А вот 2-я часть, Песни о героях, до революции не успели напечатать, и рукопись считалась утерянной до 1990-х годов. И вот впервые в идеальном виде, с комментариями и проч. они напечатаны в едином томе.

Очень приятно читается (и гадается по этому тексту тоже очень удачно!)

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. "This war in Ukraine is going to give the Fed the ammunition, the cover that it needs, to not raise interest rates too quickly. And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon." Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. The picture was mixed overseas. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 1.6%, under pressure from U.S. regulatory scrutiny on New York-listed Chinese companies. Stocks were more buoyant in Europe, where Frankfurt’s DAX surged 1.4%.
