Также только на территории заказника можно встретить изолированную популяцию гольца Таранца Salvelinus taranetzi. И редкие виды животных, растений, грибов, занесенных в Красную книгу.
Общая площадь заказника составляет 17044,85 гектара. Разрешение на его посещение можно получить в КГКУ «Служба по охране животного мира и государственных природных заказников Камчатского края».
