Председатель Совета Федерации Валентина Матвиенко обратилась к юным героям: «Ребята, вы не просто совершили подвиг, вы стали ангелами-хранителями для тех, кого вы спасли... Сегодня вас увидела вся страна. Вы вернетесь домой уже известными людьми. И на вас особая ответственность, потому что на вас будут равняться!»
