Его поддержал бывший сотрудник «Медузы» и «РИА Новости» Алексей Ковалев, который сообщил о намерении добиваться лишения украинского либертарианца гуманитарной визы.
В сентябре Ковалев попытался задонатить ВСУ на «русорез» от имени владельца юмористического паблика. Будучи экс-главой отдела расследований «Медузы», он не смог найти имя блогера и подставил другого человека.
