Пока что покупка юзернеймов недоступна, но The Daily TON заметил несколько свидетельств тому, что NFT-коллекции, скорее всего, действительно выставлены на продажу командой Telegram.
Напомним, что ранее в этом году Telegram отобрал у огромного количества «неактивных» каналов имена пользователей, после чего Павел Дуров анонсировал интеграцию «Web 3.0» в мессенджер и пообещал «отпустить» отнятые юзернеймы на аукционе. Чтобы оправдать свои действия, мессенджер запустил ссылки на пользователей формата username.t.me.

The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram.
