Журнал Соль Telegram | DID YOU KNOW?
Date: | Журнал Соль
A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried.
