Предварительно установлено, что в период с 2023 по 2024 год бывший чиновник, действуя в сговоре с доверенным лицом, в целях получения финансовой прибыли в сумме свыше 20 млн рублей оказывал покровительство при заключении подрядными организациями контрактов на выполнение работ в рамках исполнения государственных программ, а также содействовал в беспрепятственной приемке и оплате выполненных работ.

Сотрудники правоохранительных органов в городе Рязани провели операцию по задержанию посредника с поличным, при получении пакета с 20 млн рублей. Далее по месту жительства в Московской области оперативники задержали бывшего министра строительного комплекса региона. В ходе оперативно-розыскных мероприятий и обысков в жилищах сообщников изъяты предметы и документы, свидетельствующие об их противоправной деятельности. Экс-чиновник доставлен в город Рязань для проведения следственных действий и избрания меры пресечения.
