Сегодня в НИУ "МЭИ" завершился второй день программы «Онлайн-рекрутинг иностранных студентов», и снова у нас в гостях был Богдан Вороновский, генеральный директор Ассоциации восточно-европейских университетов.
👥НИУ «МЭИ» объединил представителей вузов из Москвы, регионов России, Беларуси и Киргизии. В теплой и дружелюбной атмосфере (сhill vibes only!) обсуждали подходы к работе с иностранными студентами, обменивались опытом и находили общие точки роста.
📈А еще мы провели экскурсию: гости посетили кафедры русского языка (ГПИ) и теоретических основ электротехники (ИЭЭ). Знакомство с научной и образовательной средой нашего университета впечатлило участников и определенно добавило позитива! 🧑💻

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats. The regulator took order for the search and seizure operation from Judge Purushottam B Jadhav, Sebi Special Judge / Additional Sessions Judge.
