23 января по всей стране начались обыски и задержания родственников политзаключенных, бывших политзаключенных и (в редких случаях) активистов. На текущий момент известно про более чем 200 фамилий задержанных.
В пятницу "Весна" обратила внимание, что часть таких задержанных начали судить по статье, которая раньше не использовалась для репрессий: ч.2 ст.24.15 КоАП (Использование иностранной безвозмездной помощи для осуществления террористической и иной экстремистской деятельности).
Брестская "Весна" нашла, что в Барановичах 2 февраля в конце рабочего дня осудили 6 человек по этой статье. В расписании суда значились бывшие политзаключенные Дмитрий Тимофеев и Денис Денисов, а также еще 4 человека. На суд над ними отводилось по 10, иногда всего 5 минут. Все 6 дел рассматривал судья Артем Подолянец.

The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice.
