В Новой Каледонии продолжаются бои между лояльными Парижу силовиками и вооруженными местными жителями.

В регионе введен режим чрезвычайного положения. Организован «воздушный мост» с территорией Франции. В Новую Каледонию переброшены значительные силы полиции, жандармерии и спецназа, а также армейские подразделения.

Продолжаются беспорядки и вооруженные столкновения с силовиками. Только за последние сутки в результате перестрелок с полицией погибли два человека, еще двое получили ранения.
