Растем! По данным Росстата по итогам 2024-го года население Сахалина и Курил увеличилось на 7 человек! Кажется, что цифра откровенно смешная, но тут вопрос принципиальный. Это первый рост за 8 лет. Причем, тенденции даже последних 3-4 лет были негативные. В 2022 году население островов уменьшилось почти на 5,5 тысяч человек, в 2023 - почти на 3 тысячи, а в 2024 - выросло.
Конечно, это произошло за счет миграции - не успели бы островитянки столько нарожать за год. Но ПСО разгоняет, что в составе этой миграции большую часть занимают россияне: более 60%. В целом, визуально похоже на то. Нельзя сказать, что на островах за последний год стало больше иностранных специалистов.
Пусть достижение пока невелико, но и такой маленький успех необходимо еще удержать и развить. Очень хочется верить, что через год мы будем говорить, что 2024-й стал переломным для демографии региона. Скрестим пальцы.
