Die Bundesagentur für Arbeit hat 2024 mindestens 40.000 Arbeitskräfte ohne anerkannte Berufsqualifikation aus dem Ausland nach Deutschland kommen lassen. Das ist fast doppelt so viel wie im Frühjahr ursprünglich geplant (25.000).
„Über wenige Ausnahmen können auch Personen ohne Qualifikation zu Erwerbszwecken nach #Deutschland regulär einwandern. Damit hat sie auf den Bedarf der Wirtschaft vor allem an Fachkräften, aber auch an sonstigen Arbeitskräften reagiert“, so das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales laut n-tv. Die meisten der 40.000 Arbeitskräfte kamen aus Staaten des Westbalkan. Zwei Drittel von ihnen arbeiten als Helfer, vor allem bei Zustelldiensten, auf dem Bau und in der Gastronomie.
