افزایش قیمت دارو در هفته‌های اخیر باعث ایجاد شوک جدی در میان مردم شده است. هادی احمدی، عضو هیات مدیره انجمن داروسازان ایران، اعلام کرده است که از هر ۱۰ مراجعه‌کننده به داروخانه‌ها، ۳ نفر قادر به تهیه داروی خود نیستند یا به دلیل گرانی از خرید آن صرف‌نظر می‌کنند. وی این وضعیت را بسیار نگران‌کننده توصیف کرده و افزوده است که بیماران مرتبا از افزایش چشمگیر قیمت‌ها گلایه دارند و توانایی مالی برای پرداخت هزینه‌های دارو ندارند. به گفته احمدی، ناهماهنگی میان سازمان غذا و دارو و سازمان‌های بیمه‌گر باعث شده پرداختی از جیب بیماران به بیش از ۵۰ درصد برسد. وی این موضوع را خلاف اهداف تعیین‌شده در برنامه‌های توسعه کشور دانسته است که تاکید دارند پرداختی بیماران باید به ۲۰ درصد کاهش یابد. کارشناسان تاکید دارند که نبود برنامه‌ریزی و هماهنگی میان نهادهای مرتبط با حوزه سلامت، فشار سنگینی بر دوش بیماران گذاشته است. این وضعیت نه‌تنها به سلامت عمومی آسیب می‌رساند، بلکه باعث کاهش اعتماد عمومی به نظام سلامت کشور نیز خواهد شد.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
