Ранее Роскомнадзор потребовал от разработчиков приложения для шифрования почтовой переписки DeltaChat создать личный кабинет «Организатора распространения информации» и предоставить ФСБ доступ к данным пользователей по правилам статьи 10.1 Закона об информации (149-ФЗ).
После отказа, который разработчики обосновали отсутствием данных о пользователях и технической невозможностью их передачи, а также необоснованным вмешательством в тайну переписки, Роскомнадзор оштрафовал Merlinux Gmbh по ст. 13.31 КоАП на 100 тысяч рублей.
