ЕР утвердила руководителей обновленной гордумы Челябинска. Экс-депутат заксобрания области Сергей Буяков согласован в качестве спикера гордумы Челябинска. Его коллега, действующий депутат думы Денис Лапотышкин, будет руководить фракцией единороссов и в новом ее составе.
Голосование в президиуме регионального политсовета «Единой России» проходило на альтернативной основе. В паре с Буяковым рассматривался Иван Горнов. С Лапотышкиным – Кирилл Матвеев.
Выборы в гордуму нового созыва состоялись 7 и 8 сентября. Это были первые за десять лет прямые выборы в представительный орган. В новой думе с 49 до 37 сократилось число депутатов. Среди них 31 представитель ЕР, три эсера и по одному представителю КПРФ, ЛДПР и «Новых людей». На данный момент списочников уже определили коммунисты, единороссы и либерал-демократы.

So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
