Хюнин Кай решил помочь пострадавшим семьям как можно быстрее вернуться к стабильной жизни. Собранные средства будут направлены на поддержку семей пострадавших, а также на ликвидацию последствий.
Хюнин Кай сказал: «Я был глубоко опечален новостью о внезапной авиакатастрофе. Я решил сделать это пожертвование, потому что хотел хоть как-то помочь семьям погибших. Я хотел бы выразить свои соболезнования и сочувствие всем, кто переживает горе».
Сразу после крушения Jeju Air на место происшествия срочно направились волонтеры, сотрудники и психологи Корейского Красного Креста с гуманитарной помощью и оборудованием для оказания помощи и психологической поддержки. Также они организовали кампанию по сбору средств.
