Филиппу 24 года. Он закончил детскую музыкальную школу городского округа Щёлково. В 2017 году с отличием окончил Московскую государственную консерваторию имени П.И. Чайковского. Сейчас проходит ассистентуру-стажировку в Кёльне. Филипп Лынов является многократным победителем международных конкурсов.

В финале конкурса в Такамацу Филипп исполнил третий концерт С. Рахманинова. Губернатор префектуры Кагава и мэр Такамацу поздравили российского пианиста с заслуженной победой.
