С инициативой задействовать молодёжь в этом проекте ранее выступил губернатор Андрей Бочаров. Ребята представили более 2 тысяч проектов. В них воплотили воинские традиции, идею преемственности поколений, единство народов России и семейные ценности.
Оргкомитету, в который входят эксперты, ветераны, участники СВО и многие другие, предстоит выбрать лучшие идеи. В результате совместными усилиями у подножия Мамаева кургана будет создан по-настоящему народный памятник.

TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
