Один из убитых в перестрелке у Wildberries - 41-летний ингуш Адам Алмазов из селения Кантышево - оказался, по словам экс-мэра Магаса Беслана Цечоева, служившим в личной охране замминистра Минобороны РФ и бывшего главы Ингушетии Юнус-Бека Евкурова. До этого Алмазов был заместителем командира батальона ОМОН «Ахмат-1».
Также ряд изданий пишут, что в перестрелке был убит житель Ингушетии и чемпион России по тхэквондо Умар Чичаев, выступавший за клубы «Ахмат» и «Беркут». Официально третья смерть не подтверждена.
