Президент Владимир Зеленский сообщил об этом через Telegram, отметив, что операция по его задержанию была сложной. «Только что министр внутренних дел Украины Игорь Клименко доложил мне о задержании в Днепре подозреваемого в совершении убийства Ирины Фарион», — заявил Зеленский.
Его личность пока не раскрывается. Офис генпрокурора Украины сообщил, что сейчас задержанному в Днепре готовится сообщение о подозрении в умышленном убийстве (ч. 1 ст. 115 УК Украины) и решается вопрос об избрании меры пресечения.
