Austrian Airlines тоже покроет свои Boeing 777 "акульей шкурой"
Lufthansa Technik нанесёт на 4 Boeing 777-200ER низкопрофильную поверхностную плёнку AeroShark. Austrian стала очередным перевозчиком Lufthansa Group, который воспользуется преимуществами этой плёнки, разработанной в сотрудничестве с химической компанией BASF.
17 дальнемагистральных самолётов группы уже оснащены технологией AeroShark.
Плёнка толщиной 50 микромиллиметров имитирует кожу акулы и снижает аэродинамическое сопротивление планера, уменьшая расход топлива и выбросы на 1%. Около 830 кв. м покрытия будет нанесено на фюзеляжи и гондолы двигателей. Ожидается, что общая экономия от установки на самолёты Austrian составит около 2.650 тонн топлива и более 8.300 тонн CO2 за четыре года эксплуатации.
