❗️🇦🇿 В Бакинском суде по тяжким преступлениям состоялось подготовительное заседание по уголовному делу в отношении Ивана Светличного, обвиняемого в государственной измене.
Как сообщает Report, дело передано в производство судьи Айгюн Гурбановой.
Расследование уголовного дело проводилось Службой государственной безопасности Азербайджана.
Подсудимый Светличный Иван Николаевич, гражданин Азербайджана, подозревается в умышленной государственной измене в форме шпионажа в ущерб государственной безопасности, суверенитету и обороноспособности, а также в выполнении заданий иностранных спецслужб.
Конкретные преступные деяния, совершение которых ему вменяется, будут перечислены на следующем судебном процессе при оглашении обвинительного акта. Судебное заседание назначено на 3 февраля.

On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm.
