Начали работу отечественные базовые станции связи 4G 🔥

На сети в Татарстане начали работу базовые станции LTE, произведённые российской компанией «ИРТЕЯ». Это первый масштабный проект по разработке и запуску отечественного оборудования LTE. Станции уже установлены в восьми районах Татарстана, включая Нижнекамск, Альметьевск и Менделеевск.

В 2024 году планируется ввод в эксплуатацию 200 базовых станций по всей России, а в 2025 году подключат ещё тысячу. Новое оборудование основано на современных технологиях Open RAN и клаудизации, что позволяет обрабатывать часть функционала в дата-центрах.

Проект станет важным шагом в развитии телекоммуникационной отрасли и обеспечит стабильное покрытие в 37 регионах страны.

Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information.
