Традиционно больше всего гостей выбирают Москву и Петербург, но растёт популярность комбинированных маршрутов, таких как Москва-Казань или Москва-Сочи. Большая часть туристов приезжает из Китая, ОАЭ, Саудовской Аравии и Индии.
С января по сентябрь 2024 года Россию посетили 731,8 тыс. туристов из Китая — в семь раз больше, чем годом ранее. Германия заняла второе место с 52,3 тыс. визитов, а Саудовская Аравия показала рекордный рост — в 12 раз, до 39,1 тыс.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
