В обращении к министру юстиции Константину Чуйченко народные избранники из партии "Новые люди" заявили, что, согласно данным ведомства, в России из 100к освобождённых из мест заключения 44 тысячи человек вновь совершают преступления, потому что большинство не адаптированы к жизни в обществе. Причина — потеря соцсвязей, отсутствие профнавыков, но главное — нежелание учиться.
Поэтому предложили снижать срок пребывания в колониях за прочтение книг (-4 дня за каждую), которые "формируют у заключённых общепринятые моральные ценности и способствуют преобразованию личности". Например, "Преступление и наказание" Достоевского, "Воскресение" Толстого, "На дне" Горького и многие другие.

Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram.
