📖Вчера провела вторую часть мероприятия «Книги в деле».

Вечер получился именно таким, каким я его задумывала - вдохновляющим и познавательным. Спикеры поделились своими душевными историями. Каждое выступление пропитано вдохновением, любовью к книгам и книжной сфере. 📚

Больше 25 человек в зале, четыре вдохновляющие истории о книжных проектах, десятки вопросов из зала, а еще розыгрыш и подарки. Мероприятие вышло очень тёплым и уютным.

Спикеры рассказывали о книжных клубах, подкастах, издательской деятельности. Вопросов из зала было очень много, и это здорово! Значит людям откликается то, что я делаю и интересны гости, которых я пригласила. ❤️

Я вчера была в роли ведущей. Представляла гостей, фотографировала, помогала с розыгрышем, задавала вопросы, дарила подарки.

По-моему, получилось очень душевно. ❤️

After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. Pavel Durov, Telegram's CEO, is known as "the Russian Mark Zuckerberg," for co-founding VKontakte, which is Russian for "in touch," a Facebook imitator that became the country's most popular social networking site. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future.
