Отметим, что 17 мая ему назначили меру пресечения в виде заключения под стражу на два месяца по уголовному делу о мошенничестве в особо крупном размере.
Сейчас генерал-майор находится в СИЗО. Как отметили в СК, просьба о переводе была направлена с учетом характеризующих Попова данных и других обстоятельств, установленных в ходе расследования.
