Глава Поморья Александр Цыбульский установил новую памятную дату в Архангельской области – День ветеранов боевых действий. В указе губернатора говорится, что в регионе ежегодно будут отмечать этот день 1 июля.
«Теперь эта дата официальная и будет отмечаться ежегодно. В Архангельской области живут почти 13 тысяч ветеранов и участников боевых действий. С предложением установить у нас в области эту памятную дату ко мне обратились сами ветераны боевых действий. Просили даже не за себя, а за тех парней, которые сейчас выполняют боевые задачи в спецоперации на Украине», – рассказал Цыбульский.
Отметим, что за последние два года в Архангельской области приняты новые меры социальной поддержки ветеранов боевых действий. Например, они освобождены от уплаты транспортного налога, а ежегодную выплату семьям погибших в горячих точках сделали ежемесячной. Они также могут воспользоваться программой «Социальная ипотека».
