Суть там в том, что в городе, который уже давно российский, на центральной площади поставили странноватую елку, которую старое украинское руководство ставило еще в 2021 году.

Мало того, что елочка, по мнению жителей, какая-то не совсем форматная, так за нее еще и заплатили больше 3 миллионов. И нифига не понятно за что, потому что елка старая, а установка явно не стоит трешку.

Непонимание растет на новых территориях. Логичное, к слову, непонимание-то.

The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides.
