1 января 1919-го года был опубликован Манифест, провозгласивший создание ССРБ. Эту дату и принято считать днём основания белорусской республики.

Не могу не упомянуть ещё один эпизод, связанный с Витебщиной.

📌 Сразу после провозглашения ССРБ, Витебский комитет РКП(б) выступил с категорическим несогласием включения Витебщины в состав ССРБ. И уже через две недели, 16 января 1919 года, Витебскую и Могилёвскую губернии вновь вернули в состав РСФСР.

"There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp.
