Российская Федерация построит в Республике Таджикистан театр за 3,5 млрд рублей. Соответствующее соглашение Госдума ратифицирует на следующей неделе. Как отмечает в заключении профильный комитет по делам СНГ, строительство театра «позволит увеличить охват публики для демонстрации спектаклей на русском языке, что позволит стимулировать интерес к русской культуре, продвигать русский язык в качестве языка межнационального общения».
Драмтеатру будет присвоено имя Владимира Маяковского.
