Этот долгожданный момент стал результатом многолетних трудов и молитв. Храм, возведенный по благословению старца Илия, духовника Святейшего Патриарха Кирилла, стал духовным центром для всех, кто чтит память погибших воинов.

На своде алтаря храма изображены святые мученики: ксанские эриставы Шалва, Элизбар и Бидзина, а на южной стене - портрет Коста Хетагурова, выполненный в реалистичной манере художниками мастерской церковного искусства "Образ" из Санкт-Петербурга.
