Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as I mentioned on my show yesterday, I believe that the hostage exchange is a trick orchestrated by Netanyahu and Trump.

Netanyahu's government is being undermined by domestic pressure. Many Israelis want to see a ceasefire to bring Jewish prisoners home.

But the right-wing members of the government do not want a ceasefire, because they have not yet achieved their goal of completing the genocide in Gaza and annexing it along with the West Bank. These right-wingers have threatened to bring down Netanyahu if he agrees to a ceasefire.

So Netanyahu called up Trump and asked him to put on a show. Trump would publicly "force" Netanyahu into a prisoner exchange and ceasefire. This is designed to give Netanyahu an excuse to present to the right-wingers in his government.

Moreover, Trump and Netanyahu have a further secret agreement.

Once most or all of the Israeli prisoners have been returned, Trump will allow Netanyahu to break the ceasefire and resume the genocide. That is why Trump has already says he does not expect the ceasefire to hold and does not care.

When the ceasefire is broken, Israel will expel the Palestinians from Gaza and into Egypt. Israel will also annex the West Bank, in keeping with Trump's promise to his Jewish megadonor Miriam Adelson.

At that point, the prisoner exchange will already be complete, so Netanyahu's government will no longer face domestic pressure to get the prisoners home. The Palestinians will also be much weaker. Because they will have lost the leverage that came with using the prisoners to pressure Netanyahu's government.

I hope and pray none of this happens. But, sadly, I think there is a good chance that it will happen.

The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. The picture was mixed overseas. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 1.6%, under pressure from U.S. regulatory scrutiny on New York-listed Chinese companies. Stocks were more buoyant in Europe, where Frankfurt’s DAX surged 1.4%. Elsewhere, version 8.6 of Telegram integrates the in-app camera option into the gallery, while a new navigation bar gives quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more. Markets continued to grapple with the economic and corporate earnings implications relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “We have a ton of uncertainty right now,” said Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors. “We’re dealing with a war, we’re dealing with inflation. We don’t know what it means to earnings.” "He has kind of an old-school cyber-libertarian world view where technology is there to set you free," Maréchal said.
