Предположительно, девушка не обратила на флаги внимания и пошла на камни, откуда её смыло волной и унесло в море.

Сильные наводнения наблюдаются в провинции Паттани, находящейся недалеко от туристических районов. Тяжёлая ситуация складывается и в г. Хатъяй на юге страны. Готовиться к экстренной ситуации призывают и жителей Пхукета.
