В данных за 21 января имеются локальные области усиления межпланетных мерцаний в ночное время вблизи орбиты Земли, внутри орбиты Земли усиления мерцаний не наблюдается. Хоть явных признаков распространяющихся возмущений нет, однако за последние сутки произошла солнечная вспышка класса M довольно близко к линии «Солнце-Земля». В случае быстрого распространения выброса после этой вспышки возможен его приход на Землю 22 января без предварительного усиления мерцаний, что теоретически может вызвать магнитную бурю.

The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off.
