The final chapter of 2024 InteRussia fellowships has officially ended. Over the six weeks of intensive work, fellows from Argentina, Cameroon, India, Iran, Kenya, Moldova, Pakistan, and Turkey immersed themselves in an exceptional blend of academic rigor, practical engagement, and cultural exploration.

Here’s what they achieved:

🟣developed research projects on values and institutions in the changing world order under the academic guidance of lead scholars from MGIMO Institute for International Studies;

🟣engaged in the Dialogue for the Future 2024, Valdai Discussion Club and HSE University conference on the global majority, sparking innovative ideas for international cooperation;

🟣held thought-provoking discussions with Sergey Lavrov, Feodor Voitolovsky, Mikhail Shvydkoy, and Sergei Krikalev;

🟣explored the artistic essence of Russia with visits to the Museum of Russian Impressionism and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art.

The programme has not only shaped our fellows' professional paths but also broadened their perspectives for the challenges ahead. Thus, its impact will resonate in shaping the next generation of diplomatic leaders.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender.
