🤍26 февраля в Петровском Путевом дворце состоялась вторая Казачья ассамблея, продолжившая традицию ежегодных культурных мероприятий Ирины Узденовой при поддержке ее супруга.

Мероприятие торжественно завершило деловой форум RU.Локация, посвященный лучшим практикам и успешным проектам работы с наследием России.
Тема мероприятия в этом году - «Казачество, каким его не знала Москва».

Эстетика донской культуры была представлена в новом прочтении и перекликалась с масленичными традициями казаков.

Среди гостей были замечены представители министерств, Гос Думы, администрации Президента, иностранных посольств, руководители музеев, а также Павел Деревянко, Егор Бероев, Ани Лорак, Андрей Малахов, Сати Спивакова, Полина Чернышова, режиссер Сергей Урсуляк, Наталья Карпова, Илья Давыдов, Елена Филипченкова, дизайнер Алена Ахмадуллина, солисты Большого театра Кристина Кретова, Игорь Цвирко и многие другие представители светской Москвы.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
