Байкальск хочет стать отдельным муниципальным округом
28 ноября дума Байкальска рассматривает вопрос о преобразовании Байкальска в отдельный муниципальный округ вне Слюдянского района. Об этом сообщил телеграм-канал «Иркутск политический».
Инициативу преобразования Байкальска совместно с Утуликом и Новоснежной в отдельный муниципальный округ вынес глава МО Василий Темгеневский. Он считает, что отделение от Слюдянского района поможет развитию Байкальска в качестве опорного муниципалитета для туризма и включения в проект «Пять морей и озеро Байкал».
Если дума Байкальска одобрит инициативу мэра, её вынесут на публичные слушания.
