Думаю, когда англичане предлагают вам заключить «100-летний союзный договор», то надо очень быстро бежать.
Просто у людей ничего личного, как у волка в лесу. Буквально единственный народ в Западной цивилизации у которого ни симпатий, ни привязанностей в международной системе отношений.
Ну, 5, ну 10, ну 30 лет — это ещё понятный для них горизонт союзничества.
100 лет — много даже для приличных стран. Для англичан 100-летний договор —это даже не шутка, это издёвка, это значит, что резать будут очень скоро.
