14 июня Первомайский райсуд Бишкека оправдал 22 фигурантов Кемпир-Абадского дела из 27. Остальных пятерых политзаключенных выделили в отдельное производство. До оглашения приговора в СИЗО находились восемь человек.
Фигурантов Кемпир-Абадского дела арестовали в октябре 2022 года по обвинению в «подготовке к организации массовых беспорядков». Все они открыто критиковали передачу Кемпир-Абадского водохранилища Узбекистану и утверждали, что именно их публичные высказывания стали причиной их ареста.
